Proud to be in Mascoutah
since 1974

For fifty years, Speedi Check has been Mascoutah’s corner — good food, cold drinks, and a full tank from folks who know your name. Dick and Margie Sax bought the little store on West Main in 1974 and made it a fixture, bringing sons Tom and Tony in straight out of high school.

For nearly fifty years the Sax family fed the town one plate at a time. In 2024, Rooster and Chuck took the keys from Tony — with a simple promise: the same great food, service, and fuel Mascoutah has counted on for decades. Tony still swings by to check on the guys.
